Revere Dental and Orthodontics is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Revere, MA

Duties:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Prepare and maintain dental materials and supplies
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform dental charting and documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
- Assist with front desk duties as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- Current certification in dental radiography
- Knowledge of medical coding and billing procedures
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, such as Epic
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus

This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively assist the dentist in providing quality dental care to patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental assisting, including experience with medical documentation, CAD, and patient assessment. The ability to work with pediatric patients is highly valued.
